From the app

Sign in, open account options, choose “Delete account” and confirm. The app displays the result. A recent sign-in may be needed to delete your Firebase sign-in identity. If a step cannot be confirmed, the message explains this; contact us to complete outstanding steps.

Without reinstalling Dundu

Write to contact@dundu.app with the subject “Delete Dundu account”, your account identifier or sign-in address, and your request. Do not send a password, sign-in code or bank details. Proportionate verification protects against closing someone else’s account; identity documents are not routinely required.

What is removed

Once a verified request is confirmed, account access and visibility are removed. Profile data, content, media, preferences, devices and other account-related information in Dundu production are purged within 30 days, except limited elements for which separate retention is justified. A minimal processing record tracks outstanding steps and prevents reactivation of deleted data during a restoration.

Verification documents are removed when a decision is made, or within 30 days without a decision. Safety, reporting and support records may be retained for 90 days after closure. A legal obligation or identified dispute may require separate retention of only necessary elements, with restricted access and review.

Minimal purchase references are retained separately and reviewed for reconciliation, refunds, disputes, applicable accounting or tax obligations, or an identified legal dispute; they are removed when the reason and applicable periods end. For RevenueCat, a separate operator step locates the record, removes data no longer needed and confirms the outcome. Tracking keeps the necessary identifier encrypted. Records still outstanding after 30 days are flagged for review; this identifier is removed 90 days after overall deletion tracking is closed, after provider steps are confirmed and financial reservations are resolved. Signing out does not confirm this erasure or cancel Apple subscriptions. No profile copy may be brought back into use to restore a purchase.

Technical copies and providers

Deleting production data does not mean all technical copies disappear simultaneously. Google states that removing authentication data and, after the corresponding request, the Firebase installation identifier from active and backup systems can take up to 180 days. Namecheap maintenance copies and internal connection logs follow its own terms; backup frequency does not establish a maximum erasure date. Dundu application-log retention is not a guarantee of erasing the host’s internal logs. A service restoration must reapply deletions before data is used again.

We cannot erase screenshots or copies another person keeps outside Dundu. The privacy policy details data categories and retention periods.

Inactive accounts and purchases

For an account inactive for 12 months, a 30-day notice is made available in the app before closure. Activity during that notice stops closure. For a monthly or annual iOS subscription, manage renewal in your Apple subscriptions: uninstalling, closing or leaving your Dundu account inactive does not automatically cancel it. The one-time “Lifetime” purchase has no renewal to cancel. Immediate account closure remains possible; it removes Dundu access without guaranteeing a store refund.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. For an incomplete request or unconfirmed outcome, contact contact@dundu.app.
